About the Appian Certified Associate Developer practice exam

This is a free set of original study questions for developers preparing for the Appian Certified Associate Developer exam (formerly ACD101). Appian publishes the exam length as 60 questions in 60 minutes with a 73% pass mark, so the practice test uses a similar length and time limit to help you practise pacing. Questions are drawn at random from a larger pool, and every answer comes with an explanation.

Every question is written by AppianVerse contributors; none are taken from any Appian exam, and AppianVerse is not affiliated with Appian. Passing this practice test is not a prediction of your result on the real exam.

Who it is for: developers with roughly three to six months of Appian experience.

Topics covered: Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Records, CDTs, Data Stores, Integrations and Security.

How the practice test works

  1. Start the test. A countdown timer helps you practise answering under time pressure.
  2. Answer each question; you can flag questions and come back to them before submitting.
  3. Submit to see your score, a pass/fail verdict and a per-topic breakdown.
  4. Review every question with the correct answer and explanation, then retake with a fresh set.

Guests can take one trial exam. Sign in to keep your attempt history and track improvement over time. For background reading, see the Appian certification study guide and compare all three exams on the practice exams page.
