One round of interviews, the interview was about one hour long, with three participants. Overall it was relaxed but technically focused.
Questions Asked
Do you have experience working in a SQL database?
Explain how you've used stored procedures within a database.
Explain how you've handled integration errors.
Explain the teams you have worked on previously and your role within the teams. How did you grow in the role?
Explain how you've handled deployment to production and handled errors related to deployment?
Have you ever encountered a scenario where you deployed causing errors in in-flight processes?
Preparation Tips
Prepare by understanding the differences between legacy Appian concepts and modern data fabric. Many Appian customers have legacy versions and so you must have experience with both modern data fabric and older approaches to databases.
Be prepared to discuss deployments, production environments, error handling, integrations, developer roles, and experience working in a database.
