Interview Process
One hour interview. Questions about record type VS CDT, Start Process VS Subprocess... They also wanted to know my experience with Appian in previous jobs.
Questions Asked
Differences between Recod Type and CDT: The more important thing here, in my opinion, were that CDT was better when the database is used for external system as with a CDT you read directly from database when you do a query. Today, you can do that with records as well, so, it's worth it to check if there is scenarios where CDT is still a better option than records.
Differences between Start Process and Subprocess: I also had to talk about this. I recommend to have a look into this topic because I think today you can do the same with both but Star Process is more efficient as Appian will choose the better engine to execute the process.
Preparation Tips
Try to find the typical question they ask in interviews and it's also very important you can talk about your experience with Appian. Remember a difficult situation you solved in Appian and remember the thought process you used to arrive at the solution; sometimes they ask this.
